Microsoft Access | I have used Microsoft Access for over 16 years. I use it on a regular basis building databases. Most of the databases I build I am using ODBC data connections to pull information into Access. I them create Forms in Access so the end user can use the database by pushing a button. The data flows from Access to formatted Excel spreadsheets for a final product so data can be analyzed. In addition to ODBC data connections I regularly link to Excel spreadsheets to create tables in Access so I can manage large amounts of data too big for Excel spreadsheets. I am skilled at linking tables in Access, creating queries and macros to quickly pull the data I need from specific tables in an effective and efficient fashion. I am also good at using forms so the end user only sees the output and not the data driving the final result. I have taught Access at Harrison College as part of a Microsoft Office class I taught. |
