Born and raised in Hong Kong, I discovered my love for mathematics at the relatively late age of 16. I know firsthand what it is like to struggle with math – but I also know now that an understanding of its beauty and complexity is well within the grasp of most people. Julien is by far the best SAT tutor I have had. I have been struggling with SAT math and I needed someone to explain certain concepts I found difficult to grasp. Julien went beyond my expectations and explained math concepts in a simple and concise way that was easy to understand. He also gave me tips on how to manage my time during the math section of the SAT. Most importantly, he was very patient. I was pretty nervous because I have struggled with SAT math for a while but he was very patient and ultimately helped me feel more confident tackling SAT math problems. Thank you Julien! Aside from doing a great deal of work with matrices and vectors during my high school IB diploma program, I took linear algebra my first semester of college and earned an A for my effort. I was subsequently asked by the professor who taught the class to grade and tutor when he next offered it. A great deal of the mathematical work I have done relies on linear algebra. |
