AllenI have a bachelor of arts degree in English that I earned at the University of Florida. I also earned a minor in sociology. I then attended Metropolitan State University, where I earned a bachelor's degree in technical communications along with a minor in French. I'm looking forward to pursuing a master's degree in the future. I love education, and I'm excited to share what I know with others to help them embrace learning. I spent time tutoring in the campus writing center at Metropolitan State University, helping students with technology and writing skills. I also taught English at the high school level in France. In addition, I've tutored students privately in nutrition, personal fitness, surfing, and psychology. Some of the subjects I can tutor include film history, writing, English literature, sociology, film theory, video production, technology, and French. I'm very adaptable as a tutor, and I'm comfortable adjusting my approach to match the learning style the student. I can also make lessons super focused and serious, but I can also make learning fun and enjoyable when students need motivation. I'm familiar with many different teaching techniques, and I'm happy to use any of them to help students learn successfully. When I have spare time, I like to make videos, ballroom dance, surf, read, and write.
