SteveI attended Fresno City College to earn an associates degree in music, and then I went to California State University - Stanislaus to earn my undergraduate math degree. I began tutoring at the city college, and I have continued throughout my college career. My specialties are music and math, but I also enjoy helping students with linguistics, sciences, and languages. Specifically, I can help students with subjects like calculus, algebra, music theory, trumpet, multivariable calculus, precalculus, pre-algebra, flute, French horn, clarinet, bassoon, Japanese, xylophone, physics, geometry, test preparation, and others. When I work with students, I figure out where they are in their learning and then focus on helping the student fully understand the core concepts of a subject. I believe that this is a better way to help students learn effectively and experience success than memorization. When students fully understand a concept, they can apply their knowledge and answer problems independently, building their confidence and desire to learn more. I enjoy tutoring math the most because it's a logical concept that is cumulative. If I can help a student develop a strong understanding of the math they are currently studying, they can build on that knowledge by using the learning skills they develop through my tutelage to successfully learn more advanced topics later on. In my free time, I enjoy pets, music, and blogging.

PawanI recently graduated from the Ross University School of Medicine, and I'm looking forward to helping students in a wide array of topics. These include biology, anatomy and physiology, genetics, math, microbiology, pharmacology, nutrition, science, English, essay writing, and I can even help you with trumpet lessons. It's rewarding for me to pass along my knowledge of these subjects to any student with the desire to learn

MichaelMy name is Mike, and I have always excelled in school. As a tutor, I want to help others experience success like I have had. I enjoy adapting my approach and individualized tutoring environment to help students learn based on their optimal learning style. I like to connect with my students and act as a role model and mentor to help them learn successfully. I went to Dixie State University to earn my bachelor's degree in music education, at the secondary level, and I've also had opportunities to spend time in countries where German or Spanish were the primary languages. I am also a skilled musician and adept at music theory. Subjects I can tutor include Spanish, German, ESL, algebra, psychology, music theory, trumpet, arrangement and composition, pre-algebra, social sciences, study skills, organizational skills, test preparation, and more. I feel comfortable helping students with music lessons in any instrument.
