RafiI'm attending St. John's University for my doctorate degree in pharmacy. I've been tutoring since I was a high school student, and I've always enjoyed helping others and sharing what I know. Tutoring is a two-way street, and I learn as much from my students as they learn from me. I love math and science topics, and I'm comfortable teaching students chemistry, algebra, general middle school and high school math, pharmacology, and more. I also can help students study for SAT subject tests and other test preparation. I enjoy helping students develop problem-solving skills so that they can apply what they've learned to new challenges. I like to help students become self-sufficient rather than just focus on this topic we're studying. My students have traditionally done very well, and I've help them get into the schools of their choice. I'm confident I will be able to reproduce this for anyone who has the desire to succeed. In my free time, I enjoy soccer.

JenniferI earned a bachelor's degree in English and anthropology from the University of Rochester before continuing on to earn a master's degree in teaching and curriculum. I have a lifelong passion for tutoring. I started working as a tutor when I was in high school and have continued since then. My love for tutoring is what led me to my current career path of teaching middle and high school English. In addition to English, I can help with many subjects including test prep, essay editing, English, computer science, and Swift programming. In my spare time, I enjoy vampire literature, researching Victorian England, and cats. I look forward to working with you.

EricI earned a bachelor's degree in biological sciences and one in Russian as well from Ohio University-Main Campus. While I was studying, I also tutored many students in subjects such as chemistry, biology, and Spanish. I enjoy tutoring in those subjects as well as computer programming topics such as Swift. I have worked as a teacher's assistant and peer advisor; both positions taught me essential learning strategies and study skills that I can pass on to my students. My teaching philosophy includes focusing on the actual problems that students are having because it helps me find their strengths and weaknesses. Once I know what they struggle with, I can create a custom lesson plan that caters to their needs.
