Nelly FleurI enjoy teaching and numbers thanks to my parents. My mother works as a teacher, and my dad is an engineer. Due to this background, I have always helped friends and family members understand math. When I attended Bloomfield College to earn my bachelor's degree in finance and math, graduating with honors, I tutored on campus. I understand that many people think that math is boring or difficult, but I'm enthusiastic and passionate about the topic, and I help my students understand how important it is and how fun it can be to learn. My goal is to help students become confident in their abilities in math and to develop the learning skills they need to succeed on their own in the future. I also speak French natively, and I can assist students in understanding and proficiency with the language. I'm very patient, and I will try number of different approaches to see what works for each student and their unique learning style. I also like to explain concepts in creative ways, taking advantage of resources like online videos, images, drawing, and others. When I have spare time, I enjoy investing and trading, listening to music, reading, the arts, cooking, and swimming.

DamionI believe that knowledge is the best gift that anyone can get, and I do my best to provide that to students on a daily basis. As a tutor, I worked collaboratively with students in a conducive learning environment to help them achieve success. I can explain topics in ways that are easy for students to understand. I'm also able to connect with students and build rapport to make learning enjoyable. I attended St. Edward's University for my bachelor's degree in accounting, and then continued on at UT - Austin for my masters degree in accounting. I specialize in general math and business as a tutor, and I can assist with subjects like algebra, statistics, calculus one, pre-calculus, trigonometry, financial accounting, cost accounting, economics, managerial accounting, finance, macroeconomics, microeconomics, and test preparation. AndrewI went to UNC - Chapel Hill for my psychology and economics degree along with a minor in math. I then continued at the University of North Carolina to earn my MBA, concentrating on finance. I then went to Georgetown University, where I earned a master's degree in finance as well. Professionally, I've been able to work for a firm in private equity, investment banks, and I've served on the board of governors for the Federal Reserve. As a tutor, my specialties are finance and economics, but I'm also very strong in statistics, math, business administration, and preparation for standardized exams such as the GMAT. When I work with students, I like to get to know them and understand what they are trying to achieve. I use this information to help students understand complex ideas by relating them to things they know. When I have spare time, I enjoy watching sports like baseball, football, and the Olympics, meeting people, socializing, lifting weights, reading, practicing martial arts, and traveling.
