JessicaI went to San Diego State University to earn my bachelor's degree in biology. I also earned minors in both counseling and public health. I love science because there are new discoveries every day and there's always more to learn. I'm looking forward to tutoring students in biology, chemistry, algebra, middle school math topics, and other related topics. I've also had the opportunity to study in Spain, and I'm an excellent speaker of Spanish. As a tutor, I'm an active listener and mentor. I'm looking forward to helping students learn new things. DivinaI went to Le Moyne College for my bachelor's degree in biochemistry. I'm currently attending Texas A&M for my degree in medicine. I have over 10 years of experience as a tutor. My favorite subject to tutor is organic chemistry, because I was a teaching assistant for two years and also did two years of research in the subject. I love learning, and I love sharing what I know with others. I modify my teaching style based on the subject and the student I'm working with. I want to help students improve their scores and to become confident in their ability to apply the information that they have learned. In my free time, I enjoy playing the guitar, dancing, reading, and playing basketball. I'm looking forward to tutoring students in high school and college level chemistry, high school and college level biology, middle school math, elementary math, organic chemistry, and other related science and math topics.

AlishaI've been tutoring since I was a high school sophomore, and I've had a lot of experience helping students improve their grades and test scores. I worked with students from middle school level college-level. When I work with students, I first identify their strengths and areas of opportunity, and that I set up a customized plan designed to help the student gain understanding of the subject we're studying as well as the chance to become confident in their abilities as a learner. I'm looking forward to tutoring algebra, chemistry, pre-calculus, and other math and science topics. I also can provide music lessons on the saxophone or clarinet. In my free time, I enjoy reading research, traveling, and ice skating.
