NicholasI attended Fordham University for my bachelor's degree in business administration. I then went on to Boston University for my masters degree in their business school. I was on the math team at Brooklyn Technical High, where I competed in many events. As a high school student and throughout higher learning, I have taught piano lessons and tutored students in math. I like to connect with my students and understand the way they think, which allows me to explain concepts to them using their terms and relate concepts to things the student understands and enjoys. In addition to math, I can tutor students in test preparation for the SAT, ACT, and others. In my free time, I enjoy playing chess, squash, tennis, and the piano. I also like to read and swim.

JohnI attended Binghamton University to earn my bachelor's degree in English. As a tutor, I've help students in math, reading, writing, and test preparation. I also had the opportunity as a college student to tutor high school students and give piano lessons. When I work with students, I focus on providing fun and interesting sessions, and I also relate topics to interests the student has or things the student already knows. I like to help students develop their own curiosity and interest in learning, and I want students to feel confident in their abilities. Every student learns differently, so I change my approach to best meet the needs of each student I work with. When I have free time, I like to play the piano and cook. I also enjoy playing and watching basketball.
