TommyI'm Tommy, and I'm attending Georgia State University for my bachelor's degree in chemistry on the pre-pharmacy track. I'm multilingual, speaking English, Mandarin Chinese, and Cantonese. I have four years of tutoring experience. I've also been a teaching assistant at Georgia State University. I'm determined to help my students succeed in learning. I have a good track record of success with my students. My tutoring strategy is to observe how the student works, listen to their needs, understand their learning style and the requirements, and then cater my approach to help the student in the most effective way possible. I'm looking forward to tutoring students in algebra, calculus, geometry, pre-calculus, statistics, trigonometry, anatomy, chemistry, organic chemistry, physics, biology, anatomy and physiology, elementary and middle school level math, Mandarin Chinese, and Cantonese. When I have free time, I enjoy basketball and soccer, computer games, listen to music, art, traveling, and relaxing and spending time with friends.

AmandaI'm currently teaching the third grade full-time. As a tutor, I've worked with students from kindergarten level through eighth grade, along with some experience helping college students as well. I learn visually myself, and I use diagrams and drawings quite often in our sessions to help students visualize concepts that we study. My students have been very successful under my tutelage. My students have increased at least one grade level, and many evidence further than that. I utilize games and music in my tutoring to help keep students engaged and having fun. Overall, I use many different techniques to help students master the topics we study. I can tutor students in algebra, geometry, chemistry, physiology, history, government, reading, social studies, and anatomy and physiology. In my free time, I like to read, hike, and run. I also coach a softball team and a cross country team.

AlexeyI attended Emory University to earn my bachelor's degree in neuroscience and behavior biology. I also minored in history. As an undergraduate, I had the opportunity to work as a TA in biology classes. As a tutor, I mostly helped students with biology related topics including neuroscience and human physiology. I'm currently attending New York Medical College, and I can tutor students and mentor them in topics related to medicine as well. An additional love of mine is writing, and I would enjoy helping students with scientific writing and college essays. In my free time, I'm an EMT, and I enjoy traveling, cooking, and reading. I also follow politics and health policy.
