RobertPrior to my college education, I attended vocational school and worked as an Electronics Systems Technician. I have an Associate of Science in Natural Science and Math, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from William Paterson University in New Jersey. I'm now studying for MCAT and hope to enter the field of medicine. While completing my BS at WPUNJ, I worked for two years tutoring other undergrads in all core subjects. I'm qualified to tutor a wide variety of subjects, such as Elementary and Middle School Math, Algebra 1 and 2, Pre-Calculus, Trigonometry, Science, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, High School and College Biology, Genetics, Physical Science, Anatomy, Physics, Microbiology, Reading, Writing, Essay Editing, Literature, English Grammar and Syntax, College Essays, American and World History, Geography, and Public Speaking. I tutor many of the challenging Advanced Placement courses, and I would love to work with you or your student on AP European History, AP US Government, AP World History, AP Biology, AP English Language and Composition, AP English Literature and Composition, AP United States History, and AP Chemistry. I'm also available for summer tutoring and study skills and organization. When I have some free time, I love reading literature of all genres. I'm also very involved in fitness and spend time at the gym weight lifting and playing basketball.

LeslieI spent 25 years in education, and during that time I've worked at the secondary level, at the elementary level, in special education, and with adults. I attended Millersville University for my bachelor's degree in education, emphasizing elementary and special education. I also earned my masters degree in special education. In addition, I became certified as a supervisor for curriculum and instruction of special education, and also became certified in developmental therapy, applied behavior analysis, and neurolinguistic specialization. The certifications have helped me understand better ways to teach to learners of all ages and levels of ability. My specialty is a tutor is to help elementary school level students with learning challenges, but I can tutor students in a variety of subjects as well. When I work with students, my goal is to help them develop independent learning skills. To accomplish this, I need to identify the student's learning style and then figure out how to help them learn better using that style. In free time, I like to read, hike, listen to music, and watch sports. Subjects I can tutor include math, reading, writing, phonics, earth sciences, physical sciences, chemistry, and study skills.

AmronI have compassion for youth, and I care about their education. My partner works in education reform for public schools, and we are both driven to help students succeed academically. My tutoring experience includes helping students prepare for college with admissions essays and other English skills, along with tutoring elementary school students in all topics. I spent six years educating adults on diet and nutrition for a nutrapharmaceutical organization. I studied biology at Pitzer College, and I'm comfortable tutoring students in biology, biochemistry, anatomy and physiology, nutrition, physical science, MCAT preparation, English, writing, and other related topics. When I have free time, I like to get outside, play with my dog, hike, cook, garden, and play Frisbee.
