ThomasI've been lucky enough to perform a lot of interesting biological research, including publishing a paper regarding retrotransposons of marine invertebrates with the acclaimed Roy Britten and characterizing one of the first K+ channels in Mammalia. These experiences led me to change my mind about becoming a doctor. I went to UC - Davis for my bachelor's degree in biochemistry, and then earned a doctorate in neuroscience and physiology at New York University. Since graduating, I have performed and published plenty of additional research. I had the opportunity to teach in the Caribbean in a medical school, leading courses in cell biology, neuroscience, and physiology. I really enjoyed sharing information with others and helping them learn, and I also learned a lot myself. I'm looking forward to tutoring science courses including biochemistry, pharmacology, neuroscience, biomedical engineering, physiology, and cell biology. When I have free time, I like to travel and practice photography.

RohanehI have extensive experience in tutoring in many different subjects. I have a bachelor's degree in Biology and my MD, so I am well versed in basic science courses, including biology, physiology, pharmacology, organic chemistry, and chemistry. In addition, I have a quite a bit of experience working with bilingual students. Spanish is my second language, so I can help students who are fluent in Spanish as well. Additionally, if you need help in Spanish class, I feel I would be a valuable resource. During my studies, it was important to have a high-level proficiency in writing and reading and I am available for those subjects as well. Finally, I can help pupils prepare for their medical board exam. As far as my tutoring methods, I focus on treating my students as individuals, helping them work on their individual weaknesses. I strongly believe that each student is capable of attaining good grades when they are given the right tools. To help them succeed, I help students create a study schedule that maximizes their time and minimizes wasted hours. If any of these areas are something you or your student needs help with, I would be happy to help. I am always able to be reached by email and phone.

AdityaI have a bachelor's degree in biology, a masters degree in psychology, and I've also graduated from medical school. In addition, I love teaching. Education was a big part of my background, and I want to share my knowledge of topics like anatomy and physiology, biology, cardiology, pharmacology, gastroenterology, neuroscience, pre-algebra, elementary and middle school math, English, and other topics. Tutoring helps me remember where I came from, and I'm looking forward to helping students find success. When I have free time, I enjoy Brazilian jiu jitsu, mountain biking, wrestling, and boxing.
