JulioMy life experiences include serving as a combat medic and EMT in the U.S. Army, studying medicine in Ecuador, and now working as a physician. I can help students learn medical topics like pharmacology, pathology, cardiology, immunology, and others. I can also tutor science topics like anatomy and physiology and biology. I can also help students prepare for the MCAT, the GRE, and other standardized exams. I also speak Spanish and can help students learn the language. When I have free time, I enjoy soccer, swimming, and tennis.

JulienI'm a medical doctor with a bachelor's degree in biology. I finished my surgical internship, and I'm training in preventive and integrative medicine. At Harvard Medical School, I have experience tutoring students in medical courses. I have experience learning complex subjects, and I know what it's like to be frustrated studying for exams or learning coursework that seems uninteresting. I put together techniques to help students study this kind of material effectively while having fun along the way. When studying is interesting, it's easier to retain information and it reduces the stress and anxiety of exams. In addition to the material itself, I help students prepare for the way the test is formatted and help students develop mental endurance. I can tutor anatomy and physiology, microbiology, pharmacology, genetics, cell biology, histology, pathology, immunology, medical ethics, MCAT preparation, and more. In my free time, I enjoy basketball, tennis, chess, and films.

FerasI received a bachelor of science in biotechnology and a focus on genetic engineering from Philadelphia University. Since graduating, I've spent most of my time working in biological sciences and learning about fascinating discoveries in stem cell research and pathology. As someone who loves learning about new discoveries in science, there's nothing more fun than sharing my knowledge and expertise with people who share the same interests. Some of the most rewarding experiences I've had were working as a trainer or tutor where I'm able to teach and inspire people who want to learn more about scientific research. In 2014, I completed my master's degree in biology at Bradley University and have since worked closely in the field of stem cell research. Since then, I've been working as a PhD student at Rosalind Franklin University's neuroscience department, where I have had the privilege of being able to impart my wisdom and experiences onto a fresh group of aspiring scientists. As a tutor, I believe that it's important to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable and willing to push themselves beyond their own expectations. I believe that motivation, a professional relationship, and mutual respect are all part of what makes an excellent teaching and learning experience.
