MichaelInspiration to teach comes from my desire to improve the world in whatever way I can. I know students get frustrated in the classroom from time to time, and I want to share what I know with others to help them work through learning obstacles and achieve success. I feel very proud of my students who are able to learn successfully. I know that everyone learns differently and at different speeds, and I will bring patience and my adaptability to my students so that I can match their learning style with my teaching approach and work at their pace. The improvements that students make will provide satisfaction for the student, myself, parents, teachers, and others. I went to Montgomery College to earn my associates degree in chemistry, and I'm currently pursuing a medical laboratory technology degree. I can assist students in algebra, trigonometry, chemistry, geometry, pre-calculus, pre-algebra, middle school math, elementary school math, study skills and organization, and music and percussion. I've been giving music lessons for the past seven years on instruments like the drums, French horn, trombone, and trumpet. In my free time, I enjoy video games, technology, playing music, listening to music, exercise, basketball, and soccer.

EverettI enjoy teaching a variety of subjects, including math and music. Mathematics is my specialty and I have the most experience tutoring it. In fact, I received a 740 on the SAT math section and the top score on my AP calculus exam. My main education is music performance, I have taught French horn for four years to pupils in grades sixth through twelve. I am very flexible; I can accommodate your schedule. As far as my background, I am tutoring in Virginia Beach. I also worked for a math tutoring company for two years in the past. I have been enjoying getting to know my students and I love the challenge of finding the best way to help each person. I am really familiar with different teaching techniques in mathematics at a variety of levels. I work hard to ensure that each of my students has a customized and successful tutoring experience. When I am not tutoring, you can find me reading, biking, and playing video games. I am looking forward to meeting all of my new pupils and helping them get the grades they are capable of achieving. Please quit struggling and call me today, we can get started asap.

ClaireI attended Brigham Young University - Idaho where I completed a Bachelor of Science in Health Science, with an emphasis on Public Health. I began tutoring as a high school student, and then several years ago I became involved with teaching music lessons to young students. I've always had a passion for extracurricular activities - theater, music, art, and sports - and I feel those things make our lives well-rounded. As a tutor, I emphasize that students need to take risks and try to not only meet, but to exceed their expectations and goals. The fear of failure is what stops many students from reaching their goals and from being successful. I try and instill in my students that there is no shame in failing, as failure will eventually lead to success.
