ThorinI have a bachelor of science in computer science from Lindenwood University. I'm a teacher, but also consider myself a student. I have 14 years of experience as a teacher, and never learned along the way how to help students find answers on their own without giving it away. The process a student undertakes to find the right answer is at the heart of learning. It's more than just knowing the answer. I love computers and programming, and so I even pursue those interests in my free time. I also like reading, science fiction and fantasy, and role-playing games.

RahulI work for the Department of Defense as an aerospace engineer. I went to the University of Michigan doing my bachelor of science degree in aerospace engineering, and then earned my master's in the same topic from the Missouri University of Science and Technology. I've teaching experience as a TA at the graduate level. I also tutored geometry and algebra. I like to tutor high school and middle school level math along with engineering topics like dynamics, scientific programming, and aerodynamics. I've noticed that the middle school and high school math curriculum is taught differently than it is in college and beyond. When I work with students, I relate material to real world applications to help students understand why it's valuable and to make it easier to relate to. When I have free time, I like to try new foods, play volleyball, follow soccer and Cardinals baseball, and kajukenbo.

AngieI teach following the model of Bloom's Taxonomy, taking on the responsibility that my student is making progress at consistently more complex levels. It's all about developing the skills in a student that they can take with them throughout their academic and professional careers. I'm comfortable tutoring for test prep, computer literacy, literature, English, business, writing, earth science, French, science, study skills, technical writing, and more. I enjoy reading, Shakespeare, film, hiking, travel, and church in my free time.
