TammyI'm a premed student studying for a biochemistry degree from Rice University. I'm also seeking business and global health technologies minors. I've been through learning difficulties myself, so I know how to explain topics in ways that students understand them. I like to get to know students and understand how they learn, what their goals are, and what they are struggling with. This helps me cater my sessions to your needs. When I work with students, I like to explain the topic and then have the student work through some problems. This helps me gauge their progress, and I can also help them develop some problem-solving skills along the way. I have worked with students between elementary school and college age, but I'm comfortable working with students of any age and level of ability. I can tutor students in biology, calculus, geometry, chemistry, writing, Mandarin Chinese, English, and test preparation for the SAT, PSAT, and others. Outside of studying, I enjoy student activities programming, debate and speech, being an EMS, and volunteering. I also enjoy going for a swim, playing the piano, writing, and reading.

NatalieI'm Natalie, and I'm attending Rice University for degrees in English and biochemistry and cell biology. I love both science and literature, and this is why I have a cross disciplinary college program. I love to learn, and I'm a natural tutor. I enjoy finding ways to explain topics to others so they understand it. As a student, I went through struggles like many of the students I tutor. I developed methods that work for me to work through these struggles, and I can share insight into how students can develop their own strategies. I can tutor students in algebra, chemistry, French, Spanish, biology, calculus, pre-calculus, comparative literature, essay editing, and other similar courses, and I can also help students prepare for the SAT, PSAT, and other standardized tests. When I have free time, I like to read, do yoga, play the piano, and spend time with my sisters.
