DevonI love teaching and tutoring. I'm constantly on the lookout for techniques I can use to help students work through various in their learning path. Currently I'm pursuing certification to teach grammar and Latin. I primarily tutor students in Latin, but have a broad academic background and enjoy helping students with writing, reading, and French. As someone with a lot of experience studying linguistics, I'm adept at showing students how to better connect with a language and its writing to match the interest of the student. When I tutor students, I work alongside them to guide their learning and encourage lots of practice. I also provide additional readings to increase fluency. I'm looking forward to tutoring students in essay writing and editing, English grammar and syntax, phonics, Latin, and French. When I have free time, I enjoy ballet, fencing, knitting, and horseback riding.

CaitlinI believe every student can learn any topic with the right effort and guidance. I've tutored students from elementary school level to the high school level, and also served as a TA as a college student. I've also worked with special needs children and emotionally disturbed children. My favorite topics are Spanish and microbiology. I love to teach, and I bring a friendly and charismatic attitude to my sessions. I can tutor students in algebra, high school and college chemistry, high school and college biology, anatomy and physiology, high school and college level history, organic chemistry, Spanish, elementary math, and more. I can also help students prepare for the ACT and other tests. In my free time, I love ballroom dancing, ballet, and rock climbing.

ArinAs a tutor, I'm often the first person to help students develop critical thinking skills. I take this responsibility seriously, and I love helping people develop skills they can utilize for their whole lives. I'm also dedicated to pedagogical mastery. I've had opportunities to teach at several universities and various different departments, and I have honed my teaching skills during this time. I've high standards my students, and a push them to achieve, but I also encourage open communication allowing students to present their own voice and perspective on how they approach learning. I want students to enjoy learning and challenge their knowledge, and I want to help them become better writers as well. I can tutor students in essay writing, essay editing, English grammar and syntax, literature, comparative literature, and others. I can also help students prepare for the reading, writing, and English portions of the ACT, SAT, and other standardized assessment exams. In my free time, I enjoy yoga, ballet, tap dance, reading, writing, bluegrass music, photography, art, culture, cooking, and others.
