StephanieI had my first professional tutoring experience 16 years ago as a college student. At Baylor University, I tutored student athletes in Latin, French, constitutional government, and English, and I continued tutoring there as a law school student as well. I love foreign languages, and I enjoy teaching them to others. I'm a fluent French and English speaker, and I'm also proficient with Arabic and Spanish. I can also tutor students in essay editing, English grammar, literature, reading, and test preparation.

OmarI'm attending Rice University to earn my bachelor's degree in computer engineering. I have experience tutoring math for family members, assisting in laboratories on campus, and grading students in a computer engineering course at Rice. These experiences help me realize how much I enjoy tutoring, and how much I enjoy helping others to find success. My tutoring specialties are chemistry, physics, and math, and my favorite subjects are computer science and math. I also really enjoy hardware design, as it presents unique challenges in engineering, logic, and electricity. When I tutor students, I don't just want them to learn the subject we're studying. Instead, I want to help them develop critical thinking skills and confidence so they can become self-sufficient learners and be successful today and in the future. In addition to science, math, and computer science, I also can help students learn Arabic or I can help them prepare for standardized tests like AP exams, SAT subject tests, the SAT, the PSAT, and others. When I have free time, I like to read nonfiction, read scientific journals, run, travel, and watch basketball.

KaynatI attend Touro College where I am studying for my BS in Health Sciences and also an MS in Physician Assistant Studies. I've been tutoring students in a number of topics since high school. I am able to teach a huge variety of subjects, including English subjects like literature, grammar, and reading. I also tutor math subjects from elementary math through algebra and calculus. In science, I am proficient in tutoring subjects like chemistry, elementary science, biology, and more. I'm also able to tutor students who are preparing for standardized tests, such as the SAT, PSAT, and ACT. I have experience tutoring one-on-one both in person and online. I'm even able to teach students the Arabic language, and teach English to those whose first language is something else. Education is essential to a successful life, and every student has the potential to do excellent. The main way I help them reach towards this is by learning how a child best learns, freeing them up to pursue knowledge in a way that is comfortable to them. I encourage them not to focus just on good grades (though they are important), but also how their education will help them in society. In my free time, I like to read and play badminton and volleyball.
