I have an extensive background in many areas of math and science. I have BS degrees in Physics and Astronomy, with a minor in Mathematics, from Northern Arizona University. I continued my education and received an MS in Applied Physics, after completing a planetary science research project, funded by a NASA Space Grant, where the focus was on the physics and geology of planets. I've attended many scientific conferences and continue to learn even more about exciting areas such as astrobiology and geomorphology. While in grad school, I taught Mechanics, Electricity and Magnetism, and Life in the Universe to students working towards a variety of majors, and a learned different ways to connect with the students and help them to grasp some very difficult concepts. I continue to enjoy teaching and tutoring students in all areas of science, including Middle School Science, High School and College Physics, AP Physics 1 and 2, High School Chemistry, Astronomy, Earth Science, and Geology. I have an advanced knowledge of math, and can work with you or your student in Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1-4, Calculus 1-3, AP Calculus AB and AP Calculus BC, Elementary and Middle School Math, Multivariable Calculus, Trigonometry, Linear Algebra, and Differential Equations.##### Education
