PaulI have several years of experience as a tutor, and I can tutor students in a wide array of subjects. I'm adept at helping students understand difficult material by explaining it in simpler terms. I also like to form relationships with my students so we can connect and communicate openly. I'm very patient, and I modify my approach to match my student's needs. The key to success as a tutor is to help the student develop self-sufficiency in their learning, and that is my goal for each student. I can tutor algebra, macroeconomics, Spanish, French, accounting, geometry, statistics, English, writing, calculus, differential equations, multivariable calculus, and test preparation.

CaitlinI went to Virginia Tech to earn my bachelor's degree in accounting. I then worked for four years as an accountant working with government contractors on insurance and tax work. I switched to contracted administration work and managed legal and financial obligations after that. As a tutor, the majority my students are at the high school or college level, and I help them study economics, finance, accounting, and test preparation. I've also had the opportunity to work with middle school and elementary school students to help them better understand math. My goal as a tutor is to help students better understand material, work through learning obstacles, and experience success. I'm looking forward to tutoring students in elementary and middle school level math, statistics, accounting, business, finance, geometry, and others. In my free time, I enjoy running long distances, crafting, and spending time with my son.

AmosI attended Carleton College for my bachelor's degree in economics. I then earned a master's in business administration in finance supply-chain management. I enjoy connecting with people and helping them learn. I understand that students learn and perceive things in their own unique ways. I figure out how to communicate with students and relate topics to their interests to keep them motivated to learn. I enjoy taking complex ideas and explaining them in ways that are easier to understand. I also enjoy helping students who are not native speakers to improve their learning of subjects. I have had a lot of opportunities to communicate with people overseas during software implementations, and the ability to give clear and concise instruction is imperative. I can tutor students in algebra, elementary and middle school level math, pre-calculus, geometry, economics, accounting, business, micro and macroeconomics, English, writing, and others.
