Solomon AlexanderTeaching has always come naturally to me. I enjoy encouraging my students to be thirsty for knowledge. I earned my bachelor's degree in sociology from Drew University. As a tutor, my main goal is to remove the dread that a lot of children feel at a young age when they encounter subjects they struggle with. I like tutoring students in many subjects such as reading, test prep, math, and others. I work the best with students from seventh through twelfth grade. I believe that these ages are the most critical, and I like making a difference in their lives. I enjoy playing basketball, reading, and painting when I have free time.

MichaelI first began tutoring as a middle school student when I would help my friends understand various math concepts. This experience helped me develop a passion for helping others solve puzzles and break down problems. I graduated from the University of California at Davis with a bachelor's degree in history. I am comfortable tutoring students in a wide range of subject areas, including physics, pre-algebra, and American history, among others. I can also help students prepare for the SAT subject test in United States history. I enjoy building a connection with my students because it helps me keep them engaged in the learning process. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with loved ones, writing, and playing soccer.

EvanAfter I graduated high school, I headed off to the University of South California, where I am currently pursuing my bachelor's degree in psychology, while also minoring in the music industry. I have experience tutoring through various programs. I've worked with elementary age students as well as older students on subjects mostly in the English/ language arts field. I'm also available to help students with psychology and other social sciences, public speaking, and basic skills like organization, effective study methods, and time management. I've had specific training geared towards developing lessons in a variety of learning styles like auditory, visual, and kinesthetic, so I am able to customize lessons for all my students.
