NatalieI'm a pre-med student at Barnard College with a ton of experience helping students work toward their academic goals! My teaching experience covers the gamut from classroom instruction to private tutoring sessions, so I am confident that I can help a variety of students. I try to make the learning process fun for all of my students, as I find that the more engaged a student is, the more they learn. I ask them questions and allow them to arrive at the correct answer through their own reasoning, keeping them actively engaged in their education. I am comfortable working with a variety of STEM topics, including Algebra, AP Biology, Biochemistry, College Physics, and Genetics. Outside of academia, I enjoy horseback riding, biking, scuba diving, reading, trying new restaurants, and charitable endeavors. Please contact me with any additional questions you have or to schedule a study session today!

Leonard AlexanderI have over five years of experience tutoring and I am always looking to work with new students. I have experience tutoring students at various ages, ranging from the middle school level all the way through the college level. I am always learning new things and I enjoy sharing what I learn with others. I am currently attending Columbia University in the City of New York and I am pursuing a bachelor's degree in linguistics. In terms of tutoring, I mostly specialize in math and have a particular affinity for teaching pre-calculus and calculus. I also enjoy teaching languages and can help students learn Mandarin Chinese. In my spare time, I enjoy learning languages, writing, reading, and fencing.

EmmanuelI have a bachelor's degree from Dartmouth College in sociology and mathematics. In my lifetime, I've had several chances to learn and teach math. I was a ninth and 10th grade teacher on the Marshall Islands, I was a tutor at a charter school in Boston, and right now I am an algebra TA at a Bronx high school. Ever since I was young, I've worked a lot with math. Now that I am the teacher, rather than the student, I can transfer my admiration and love for the subject to students. I hope to inspire others to feel more passionately about math and allow individuals to work towards their goals.
