JustinI recently completed my bachelor's degree with a double major in biochemistry and neurobiology. I earned my degree from the University of Washington. Learning is a passion of mine, but I know that learning can feel frustrating and difficult. I can empathize with students and work with them to break down difficult concepts. It is my goal to make school subjects feel easier to conquer. In my opinion, I feel that any student can increase their confidence in the classroom with enough effort and support. It is my goal to help my students reach their goals. I hope to help you work towards achieving your educational goals in the classroom.

GwenI earned my bachelor's degree in business administration, business, and managerial economics from the University of Portland. I'm now a graduate student at the same university, pursuing my master's degree in economics and Spanish. I'm available to tutor students in each of these subjects, as well as math, physics, and public speaking. I also help high school students prepare their college application essays, and can aid in test prep for standardized exams like the SAT, or college CLEP exams. Through my tutoring experience, I've gained the ability to accommodate each individual by creating customized lessons that play to their strengths. I help clarify material for my students, and focus on applying the material so it's retained better than rote memorization allows.

AlexaMy name is Alexa and I am pursuing my bachelor's degree in biochemistry and molecular biology. I am also working on a minor in chemistry. I am studying at Oregon State University. My passions include chemistry and tutoring. I like to combine these passions to help people learn more about this complicated, yet exciting subject. In my approach to tutoring, I like to help students solve problems, while also encouraging independence. I find that it is important for students to build a strong base in their understanding of chemistry, because chemistry is the type of subject that builds upon itself. My goal is to help students feel more confident with chemistry.
