I'm a tutor who is based out of Orlando, Florida, where I enjoy studying politics and history, gardening, and reading when I'm not in the classroom working with students. I have my bachelor's degree in psychology from the Florida Institute of Technology. Although teaching is my second career, it's what I always wanted to do. I spent the first half of my career working with my college's admissions and marketing office, which was a rewarding way to help students improve their academic-related decisions. However, I always wanted to get back to teaching in the classroom and so finally I took the plunge. Now, I teach social studies to my wonderful students at a great school. I've also spent time teaching history, sociology, psychology, economics, and have even developed a course that teaches students how to become educators. I've also spent time working with students on standardized test preparation and on writing. I thoroughly enjoy working with my students. There's nothing like the feeling I get when one of my students finally has a breakthrough moment in a subject they've been struggling for some time with. If you think I can help you get more out of your coursework, let me know.Education

I am currently majoring in Russian Studies, society, health, and medicine, however, I love studying all subjects. I have extensive experience in tutoring and I can help with test prep for the ACT and algebra I. When I was in my final year of high school, I worked at Mathnasium. There, I tutored a wide range of ages in mathematics topics such as calculus, algebra, counting, and more. I am hoping in the near future to get certified to teach ESL. Right now, I volunteer at Latino Achievers, which is a group where I give free ACT tutoring to students in Nashville. I can help you with your homework struggles or help you study for your upcoming exams. Please contact me today, so we can get started ASAP. I am a very patient and social person who loves helping people achieve their goals. When I am not tutoring, you can find me traveling, cooking, and drawing.Education

I am currently pursuing my undergraduate degree in economics from the University of Central Florida. I have extensive experience tutoring students of all ages and in a wide variety of subjects. Some of the subject areas I offer tutoring services for include Spanish 1-4, English, social studies, reading, business, writing, American history, languages, microeconomics, economics, business, AP Spanish literature and culture, conversational Spanish, macroeconomics, U.S. government and politics, and related IB and AP courses. I also help students prepare for standardized exams such as the SAT, GED, PSAT, and ACCUPLACER. My experience as a tutor has shown me how differently each person learns. I take the time to discover how my students learn so that I am able to create the best tutoring experience for them. It is never enough for a tutor to simply be proficient in the subject matter, they must also be willing to go the extra mile for their students. Part of this is creating lessons that will make the material more accessible to their personal learning style. In addition to customizing their learning experience, I also work with my students to help them create tangible learning goals. I've found this helps with motivation and provides a boost in self confidence as the goals are attained.Education
