WendyI attended the College of St. Benedict, where I graduated with a degree in Spanish and Latin American studies. I am currently working for a nonprofit organization as a case manager. I like to help people work towards and reach goals, and I have had the opportunity to tutor students both individually and in groups. My teaching experience includes writing, math, reading, and Spanish for students from kindergarten to fifth grade. I am fluent in Spanish, and I have been able to further solidify my skills with a decade of experience supporting Spanish-speaking clients and living abroad. I believe the skills I have picked up through my professional and academic careers can be taught to students of any age. My goal as a tutor is to help students learn the topic at hand and experience growth. In my free time, I like to bike, hike, train for half marathons, do yoga, travel, dance, and spend time with family and friends.

MithilaI attended Minnesota State University - Mankato for my bachelor's degree in chemistry, and the University of Minnesota - Duluth for my master's degree in physics. I've taught chemistry and physics for over five years at the college level. I believe that one comes to teaching students about sciences and math, and it's important to help students truly understand these topics. This helps students develop an appreciation and desire to learn these topics, as well as motivation and better grades. I often tie concepts to real applications and other multidisciplinary topics. This helps students see all the connections math and science have in the world. Ultimately, students develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills and become self-sufficient following these methods. I work with students from all sorts of diverse backgrounds, and I understand that I need to teach to students directly and to their needs and learning styles. I've been very successful working with students, and I was awarded with the best graduate teaching assistant award at the University of Minnesota - Duluth. I also get high reviews for my students. I excel at providing quality tutoring to meet the needs of my students and focus on their success. In my free time, I like to play music, listen to music, and read.
