RyuI am currently a student at Occidental College in Los Angeles who is currently undecided on a major. I plan to minor in Japanese studies and economics. My experience includes working with children in Costa Rica, where I helped children in activities and lessons about environmental conservation. I have also helped students with Spanish or math homework. I am available to tutor in subjects such as math, test prep, algebra, reading, and more. I believe in the importance of education when it comes to having a successful career. In my spare time, I like traveling, watching movies, playing sports, and studying different cultures. I am excited to meet new students.

AdamI have been teaching for over twenty years but credentialed for over fourteen. I earned my bachelor's degree in philosophy from the University of California-Los Angeles and a master's degree in philosophy from Biola University. I have experience working with students of all ages from kindergarten through twelfth grade. I have tutored and taught in many subjects including test prep, Spanish, writing, reading, science, and more. I am more focused on my students learning than I am on my teaching. I have found that this approach to teaching has led my students to find understanding, success, and appreciation for the material they are learning. I enjoy going out to eat, watching movies, and exploring Los Angeles in my spare time.
