XhesikaI have a passion for science, which is reflect in the fact that I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry and molecular biology from Middlebury College, and went on to earn my master's degree as a pharmaceutical chemist in pharmacology. I'm continuing my education by pursuing a dual PhD/ PharmD program at the University of Connecticut. This degree is focused on medicinal chemistry and pharmacology. I have a knack for helping students engage in science in a way they may not be able to in a classroom setting. I tutor students from middle school age through college in various science and other courses, and help students prepare for standardized exams like the SAT and MCAT, among others.

GabrielleI completed a bachelor's degree in history at Eastern Connecticut State University. I am also certified to teach English to adults. I have experience teaching business English at the college level and I have experience teaching English to students at the high school level and below. While I have found that learning in a classroom setting is obviously important, I also feel like learning can be fun and this can be more easily achieved in an individual setting. I am able to tutor students in a variety of subject areas, including high school level American literature, high school world history, and public speaking, among others. In my free time, I enjoy comic books, traveling, history, cultures, and writing.

AlexisHi, my name is Alexis. I have a bachelor's of science in mathematics from Eastern Connecticut State University. I'm a tutor who has been helping students with their math coursework for over seven years. I've worked with students in one-on-one settings and have also spent time working with groups of students at the middle and high school grade levels. Currently, I'm working as a 9th-grade algebra teacher and math tutor. I tutor because there's nothing quite like the feeling I get when one of my students finally achieves a breakthrough in a topic they've been struggling with. If you could use some help getting more out of your academic opportunities, get in touch with me.
