I completed a bachelor's degree in art conservation, criticism, and history at SUNY at Binghamton. I also completed a master's degree in library and information science at Syracuse University. I am passionate about writing and reading and I have discovered various ways of making both of these activities enjoyable. I am available to tutor students in several different subject areas, including middle school reading comprehension, English grammar and syntax, and high school writing, to name a few. I am also comfortable helping students prepare for standardized tests, such as the PSAT, SAT, and ACT. I understand that preparing for tests can be quite the challenge, but I have the ability to make studying manageable. In my free time, I enjoy exploring new places, biking, and reading.Education

Elaine
I have always believed that every student has the potential to learn if an educator can identify their individual learning style. I have 24 years of experience teaching students in grades K-12 all of the standard academic subjects, including social studies, writing, reading, math, and science. I have also trained teachers on behalf of two different global education publishers. My passion for education extends even to my free time, when I directed of 125 volunteer tutors for a period of three years. Currently, I teach several college courses to education majors. Needless to say, I am an experienced educator. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy reading, gardening, social media, hiking, and kayaking. I also like spending time with my cats.Education

I'm Brad, and I realize that every student is different. When I tutor someone, I like to get to know them first. When I can understand where they're succeeding and where they need help, I can put together sessions to focus on their needs. I enjoy helping students with elementary school subjects, test preparation, ESL, and other topics.Education
