MalindaI'm Malinda, and I want to help my students change their perception of learning by having a positive experience with me as their tutor. I believe in each student's ability to learn, and I adjust my approach to match the individual way each student learns. Some subjects I can tutor include biology, neurobiology, life sciences, English, reading, and literacy. I can also help students prepare for exams like the ACT science portion, GED, or SSAT. In my free time, I enjoy making jewelry.

KristianI feel that the role of a tutor is to promote self-sufficiency and self-motivation within their students. Ideally, I love to see my students work with their peers in either a one-on-one or group setting and establish a free idea exchange that virtually eliminates the need for my services. In practice, I find that most students require nearly constant direct communication with me in order to reach for their academic goals. I have studied communication extensively, earning a bachelor's in English before a master's in Journalism. I also have seven years of experience working for traditional media outlets in advocacy, communications, and program management roles. Many of these positions didn't even exist two decades ago, so I strive to help students develop the skills they need to join the modern workforce. If they invest in the communities around them, I believe that it will be reciprocated. I am most comfortable working with English-related subjects such as Reading, Writing, Reading Comprehension, and Grammar. I can also help edit essays and prepare students for the IB exam. Hope to hear from you soon!

HaleyI graduated from Agnes Scott College with a bachelor's degree in psychology. While I was in college, I tutored students at the Center for Writing and Speaking. This gave me the opportunity to work with students at an individual level across many different subject areas. I am available to tutor students in a variety of subject areas, including writing, psychology, and German, to name a few. I can also help students develop effective organizational and study skills. I find tutoring to be fulfilling because it allows me to help students accelerate their success. I am looking forward to being able to participate in helping children succeeding. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy literature, cats, and fantasy.
