SarahI am a special education teacher with over fifteen years of experience. I have my bachelor's degree in psychology from Gettysburg College and a master's degree in special education from George Washington University. After graduating, I taught for four years in Fairfax County schools and have since been working in early intervention. I like making learning an enjoyable experience for my students, and I make things as engaging and hands-on as possible. I believe that every child and every student is capable of learning. I also believe that they should be taught how to enjoy the process. I can tutor in special education, math, English, and reading. I enjoy cooking, yoga, and taking walks.

BenjaminI took economics because it was required for my engineering degree and ended up discovering my lifelong passion! I ultimately graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a BS in Economics, and it's still my favorite class to tutor. I can also help you with a variety of math and business classes. My favorite part of tutoring is seeing that "Ah ha" moment when a concept finally clicks in a student's mind. That never happens without teaching both the how and why of an idea, so I make sure to cover both. I also incorporate real world examples wherever possible to help students answer the age-old question, "When will I ever need this?" When I'm not tutoring, I work for the Navy as a cost estimator. I also enjoy watching sports, hiking, and the occasional video game.
