LindaI work with children as both a certified elementary school teacher (K-6) and a dance instructor for ages K-12, so I know what it takes to reach them. I combine a nurturing spirit with high expectations to get the most out of my students in the classroom and on the dance floor. I'm comfortable working with students on a broad range of topics, including Middle School Writing, Personal Finance, Psychology, Elementary School Math, and Science. I can also help students prepare for the STAAR exam in grades 3-8 and utilize my extensive experience as a choreographer if a student needs help with dance. I also enjoy working with special needs students as well as ESL/ELL learners. Outside of my twin passions for reading and dance, I enjoy cooking and reading.

CoriI have a bachelor's degree in English from Syracuse University. I have experience being responsible for creating lesson plans and directing the flow of discussion within the classroom, and I have also worked one-on-one with a student to help her better develop her skills in the writing process. I find that the best way for people to develop their writing skills is through extensive practice with a variety of different formats and styles. I seek to work with students on an individual basis so that I can identify their needs and help them work toward their academic goals. When I'm not busy working, I enjoy reading, writing, researching, and gaming in my free time.
