MichaelI recently graduated with my bachelor's degree in history from Rutgers University in Newark. This is also where I discovered I have a great enthusiasm for teaching, when I did work in the university's tutoring program. I actually tutored friends and other students during my high school years, as well. I've learned that a tutor has to be quite flexible, because each student is unique and has their own set of struggles, interests, strengths and weaknesses, and even academic goals. By meeting them where they are, focusing on their specific needs, I am able to help my students fully realize their academic potential. I believe all students are capable of learning any material presented to them.

HamzahI am currently earning a bachelor's degree in religious education from Swarthmore College. I currently work as a writing associate on campus helping students write papers. I can help with organization, argument, sentence structure, and grammar concerns. I also tutor in social studies, test prep, writing, mathematics, reading, and ESL. I enjoy lifting weights, studying religion, and writing when I have spare time. I look forward to meeting and working with you to reach your goals.

GabriellaRight now, I am studying at Columbia University. I hope to study neuroscience. My passions include tutoring and giving back to my community. I have experience tutoring underserved students from New York City public schools. I've also worked with students who were struggling with coursework from the middle school and high school I attended. I can tutor students in a wide range of areas of subjects, but my favorite areas of academia are biology, history, and politics. My passion for learning is nothing new, and it is my goal to provide this passion to my clients. When I am not tutoring my students, I like to spend time with family and friends.
