ErinI graduated from the University of South Carolina-Columbia with a bachelor's degree in English. I have experience tutoring students in ancient Greek, Latin, and English. I am passionate about teaching and my love of tutoring expanded when I began working at the tutoring center at my university. I am comfortable tutoring students in a wide range of subject areas, including middle school reading comprehension, high school level American literature, and English grammar and syntax, among others. I can also tutor students in four different levels of Latin. Additionally, I am available to help students prepare for standardized tests, such as the SAT, ACT, and advanced placement exams. In my free time, I enjoy gardening, cooking, and ancient history.

AlexisI am an educator interested in creating strong relationships with my students. I am enthusiastic about finding sources of motivation, as well as building strong relationships through trust, open communication, and friendship. In my opinion, in order to be a successful teacher one must learn what is best for a student through conversation. I am interested in knowing what my students are excited about and how topics relate to their personal lives. In addition to tutoring, I also am interested in traveling, dance, theatre, viola, Irish heritage, scrapbooking, mixology, hiking and camping. Also, I earned my bachelor's degree in Psychology from Carthage College, I have a passion for learning, and a hobby of collecting oddities. I am proud to bring all of this to the table when working with students.
