MichaelI enjoy helping students develop problem-solving skills and a fundamental understanding of math topics. Subjects I can tutor include pre-algebra, algebra one and two, algebra 3/4, geometry, trigonometry, general elementary and middle school math, discrete math, and finite math. In my free time, I like to ride my bike, row, play guitar, swim, and play Legos with my son.

JeffI am a creative tutor, and I believe that differentiates me from others. Despite this asset, I still prioritize the main teaching staples of repetition, consistency, and communication. I believe in my ability to present things in different and unique ways to help students understand it better. I pride myself on taking difficult topics and breaking them down into simple segments to help students understand them. I also know what it is like to struggle with a topic because I had learning difficulties myself growing up. I developed my own techniques that work for me, and I can do the same thing for each individual student I work with. I also have experience raising scores on standardized tests such as the MCAT, and I can share with students the techniques that I used to improve.

ChelseaI went to Oklahoma State University to earn bachelor's degrees in biology and chemistry. I continued at OSU to earn my master of education degree for secondary level biology and chemistry teaching. I served my internship as well, and I've accepted a position to teach at a high school. When it comes to teaching science, I enjoy giving young people the chance to get in touch with their innate curiosity about the world and how it works. I encourage students to explore within their learning and I ask a lot of questions to help students develop critical thinking skills rather than lecturing. I want to guide my students to build their learning skills and science understanding naturally. I also am adept at explaining abstract ideas by connecting them to their applications in the real world thanks to my experience researching biology, organic chemistry, and plant genetics as a college student. I'm looking forward to tutoring subjects like life sciences, chemistry through the college level, and biology through the college level. In my free time, I enjoy listening to music, dancing, nature, and reading.
