EricaI went to the University of Rochester to earn my bachelor's degree in cell and developmental biology. I then went on to Chatham University for my master's degree in biology. I'm now looking forward to attending medical school. My experience as an educator includes tutoring on campus for chemistry and biology, and I've also served as a chemistry supplemental instructor. I understand that every student has their own unique learning style, and I address that as I tutor students using the method that connects with them best. Overall, I want my students to achieve their goals. When I have spare time, I like to cook, garden, and hike.

CristinaMy experience as an educator includes teaching fifth grade and teaching math at the middle school level. I love to help others learn, and I always try to make it enjoyable for them. I think the key to helping students learn is to modify the teaching approach based on the learning styles of each student. I enjoy building rapport with students so that we can work together comfortably and communicate openly. I can assist students with elementary and middle school level math, general elementary school topics, grammar, writing, reading, English, pre-algebra, and test preparations for admissions exams like the HSPT, ISEE, and SSAT. When I have free time, I like to watch sports, read, play with my dog, play cards and board games, travel, and spend time with my son.

AshleighI'm Ashleigh, and I'm a student at Duquesne University pursuing degrees in secondary math education and mathematics. My goal as a tutor is to help every student improve their math skills and get prepared for their future academic and professional careers. I want to have a positive effect on every student I work with to help them become more confident in their math abilities. I can tutor calculus one through three, algebra one and two, pre-algebra, elementary school math, middle school math, discrete math, AP calculus, and more. In my spare time, I like to dance, do crafts, and cheer for Pittsburgh sports teams.
