KathleenI earned my bachelor's degree in music from the CUNY Hunter College, and you could say music is my life. I've been playing guitar and piano since I was a child, and in college, I learned more about playing the electric guitar, the history of jazz and classical music, music theory, performing on the piano, composition, vocal performance, and orchestration, to name just a few. I have experience tutoring students aged 9-15 on the bass and electric guitar, as well as having served as a musical mentor for a girls' music camp. I believe music can enhance anyone's life, and that everyone is better off for learning an instrument, no matter which one.
JuliaI am currently attending the University of Pennsylvania where I am earning my bachelor's degree in economics with a philosophy minor. I enjoy sharing my love for education and learning with others. I have experience working with children of all ages from elementary through high school. Economics and mathematics are my passions, and it shows through my teaching methods. I am confident that I can help struggling students with either topic. In addition to math and economics, I can help with test prep, business, math, and more. I have many past times when I am not tutoring or teaching. I enjoy attending business competitions, being in the student government, and playing the piano.
