MathewsI began tutoring to help students prepare for the MCAT, a daunting seven-and-a-half-hour test that covers two years of material. My own experiences with the exam taught me that there is a "correct" way to prepare for it that improves the efficiency of time spent studying. I have since found these same skills to be transferable to other standardized exams, including the SAT, ACT Math, and certain AP exams. I am currently a medical student at UT Southwestern. I'm also affiliated with a great program called S.E.E.K, a non-profit that helps students from underserved school districts connect with engineering students to promote an interest in STEM subjects and higher education in general. When I'm not studying or tutoring, I enjoy trying new restaurants and hanging out with friends.

LiaI have a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from the University of Texas at Dallas. I have a strong drive to help students who feel discouraged by their academic careers. I have empathy and understanding from questioning my own ability to keep up with my class while I struggled through science and math. I was able to succeed in those subjects because I was able to banish my self-doubt. I realized that I can accomplish my dreams through hard work and persistence.

JaredHi, my name is Jared. I'm a certified tutor who is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering at the University of Texas at Arlington. I have experience working as a private tutor in a variety of subject areas. Some of the work I've done in the past has involved covering things like algebra, history, social studies, writing, and more. When I'm not studying or working as a tutor, I enjoy spending time with friends and family and listening to music. Consider reaching out to me if you feel that you would benefit from working with a private tutor. I'd love to use my experience as an educator to help you grow.
