TharunMy name is Tharun, and I have experience tutoring students in math and test preparation. I worked with everyone from middle school students in algebra to high school students preparing for the SAT. I'm currently attending New York University, where I'm pursuing an undergraduate degree in finance. When I have free time, I enjoy ping-pong, pool, watching television and movies, manga, and anime.

RafinaMy name is Rafina and I'm a tutor based out of Southbury, Connecticut. I'm currently pursuing my bachelor's degree in biology at CUNY Queens College. In my free time, I love exploring New York City and practicing photography. I decided to become a tutor because I know firsthand how valuable the process can be. In middle school, I worked with a tutor and found it invaluable since it gave me the chance to get individualized guidance that I couldn't from my teacher. I can help students with subjects like Arabic, English, math, and writing, amongst other things. If you could use some help with one of these subjects, get in touch with me. I'd be honored to work with you.

LaurenI recently graduated from Muhlenberg College with a double major in French and Theater. I'm passionate about the French language and am eager to share it with others. In fact, most of my experience as an instructor comes from my love of French. First, I tutored other students at Muhlenberg and helped them with their French classes. I really loved this job because I got to forge a personal connection with every student I worked with. Next, I was responsible for teaching a hall of girls to whom I spoke only French. I was also fortunate enough to earn several awards for my language expertise, including a 5 (the highest possible score) on my French AP exam, induction into the National Languages Honor Society, and the prestigious Phi Sigma Iota Award in French. I am willing to work with students on whatever they need, whether that means practicing conversational French or providing practice problems on the intricacies of French or English grammar. Most instructors approach grammar as something to be memorized, but I see it as something to understand in a way that makes the rules make sense. Please contact me for further information on what I can do or to schedule a session.
