ElyseI earned my Bachelor of Science degree in biomedical engineering at the University of Akron and have had a good deal of experience working as a tutor for students of all ages and a number of subjects. I especially enjoy working with younger students at the elementary or middle school level on core subjects like English, math, reading, and science. I've also worked with students on some AP subjects as well as courses in the social sciences. When I work with a student, I like to find out and utilize their strengths to shore up their weaknesses as well as develop a learning plan to help them achieve their specific goals.

AlexanderI have had a strong appreciation for learning from a very young age, especially a fascination with the cosmos. I'm drawn to subjects such as Physics and Mathematics, which have helped me score well on standardized exams. My interests are what drive me to learn more, and I believe in making academics relevant to the lives of my students to give them the same motivation! I have many interests that a student may share, including video games, astronomy, and music, so I can often forge a deeper connection than the standard tutor-student relationship. I can then draw analogies between our shared passions and the material at hand, helping students understand a concept as they work toward their academic goals. My diverse interests also make me a versatile tutor. I can help with guitar, AP Physics, Algebra II, Test Prep, and Music Theory. Please contact me today if you think I'm the tutor for you!
