WilliamMy experience teaching students ranging from middle school to college has taught me that math is not a subject that is easily understood by everyone. But I believe that everyone is capable of learning math. My goal as a tutor is to identify the challenges students are facing while also identifying the strengths that we can build on. I graduated from the University of Chicago with a bachelor's degree in mathematics and completed my PhD in mathematics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. I am capable of tutoring students in a wide variety of math related courses, including linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and non-Euclidean geometry, to name a few. I can also help students prepare for the SSAT, SAT, and GRE. In my free time, i enjoy cycling, running, and playing chess.
