RowenaI have more than a decade of experience tutoring students, and my "day job" is as a high school history teacher. I earned my bachelor's degree in History from the Arizona State University, and the subjects I'm most comfortable tutoring are elementary school math, English for kindergarten through high school, and high school history. I also work with people on career success, and a number of other specific classes. I'm able to tutor students in AP history and government classes, and help students successfully prepare for standardized exams such as the SAT, especially the subjects tests in history. When I'm not teaching or tutoring, I enjoy reading, hiking, and crafting.

BarryMy name is Barry, and I have been a math teacher on and off since 1970. I have a passion for math that dates back to my time at Lehman College, where I earned both a BA in math and an MS in Math Education. I worked for a company called Honeywell International for 25 years, half of which was spent teaching programming and operation system courses to students in the United States and abroad. This gave me some practical teaching experience. I retired from that job in 2003 and joined Everest College Phoenix, where I teach classes on campus and online. In 2015, I added Grand Canyon University and Brown Mackie College to my list of employers. I am looking forward to tutoring in the upcoming term as well.
