ShimaI'm Shima, and I enjoy helping students develop a better understanding of Mandarin Chinese. I'm originally from China, but I've been in the US for over eight years now. It can often be difficult to learn a foreign language, but I incorporate my students' interests to help them engage in the subject. When I have free time, I enjoy trying new food, traveling, watching movies, and listening to music.

JohnI earned my bachelor's degree in anthropology from Harvard University and a master's degree in computer science from Boston University as well. I recently retired from my position as a technology executive at a large financial company. My experience includes teaching elementary math and working as a teacher's assistant while studying at Boston University. I specialize in mathematics subjects such as algebra and pre-algebra. I am looking forward to working with middle and high school students to help them master and enjoy math. Outside of tutoring, I like golfing, hiking with my wife and golden retriever, and following Boston professional sports. I am excited to meet and work with new students.
