VictorI have always been passionate about reading and writing, and I actively pursue both as a hobby. I write short stories for fun, read as many novels as I can, and write for the college newspaper at my school, the City College of New York (CUNY). These recreational activities have given me the skill set necessary to ensure that essays have the proper MLA/APA formatting, making me a great pair of eyes if you have a paper to get out. I can also help with English subjects such as SAT Writing, ACT English, Middle School Reading, and College English. When I'm not helping other students, I'm studying medicine with the intention of becoming a practicing physician. I also enjoy drawing, biking, and learning new skills whenever possible. Please reach out if you have any further questions for me!

ShameekaHi, my name is Shameeka. I'm a certified tutor who has a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from the John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York. I also have a master's degree in emergency management and homeland security from the same school. I currently work as an elementary school teacher and tutor for elementary school subjects. If your child could use some extra help with their education, then consider reaching out to me. I'm able to help them with things like elementary math, general study skills, test preparation, and more. I'd love to use my experience as an educator to help them get more out of their academic opportunities.

LaurenI recently graduated with a bachelor's degree in Biology and a minor in Mathematics from Indiana University. Currently I am working toward my master's degree in Genetic Counseling at Sarah Lawrence College. While studying at Indiana, I held positions as both a math tutor and a teaching assistant in biology. My experience has led to me to learn that each individual learns differently, and I do my best to tailor my lessons plans to every student I work with. In addition to teaching math and science, I am comfortable assisting students as they prepare for standardized tests like the ACT. When not in school or working as a tutor, I like to spend my time crafting, traveling, and acting with my local community theater.
