TiffanyI have been a tutor since 2011. I earned my bachelor's degree in communication studies and art history from UCLA. Right now I am earning my master's degree in philosophy from Georgia State University. I have taught six sections of introductory philosophy courses during my time here. Before I came to graduate school, I was an English and math tutor for numerous years. I have also been an adjunct teacher. I enjoy tutoring English, test prep, study skills, and more. In my free time, I like practicing yoga, traveling, hiking, and reading. I am passionate about helping each student gain confidence and uncover their strengths and weaknesses. I also create custom lesson plans that address the weaknesses.

RyanI am currently studying for my degree in industrial engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology main campus. I enjoy a variety of subjects that range from the elementary level to the college level. Additionally, I have experience taking and preparing for a number of different standardized tests, and would welcome the opportunity to help prepare a personalized study plan for the individual pupil. Each person has their own strengths and struggles, and I believe it is essential to use this knowledge in designing instruction aimed toward working on academic goals and areas of need. When I'm not studying or tutoring, I enjoy playing a variety of musical instruments, singing, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, running, eating, and reading.

DawnI am a professional teacher with over eight years of experience split between public and private schools. My approach to teaching involves getting to know my students on a personal level so that I can understand their needs and how I can meet them. Ultimately, my goal is to help them learn and grow in ways that they never previously considered. Most of my experience to date was with students at the elementary school level, but I'm also comfortable working with older students on subjects such as Middle School Reading Comprehension, Writing, English, and Essay Editing. When I'm not teaching, I'm usually practicing yoga, dance, or my public speaking skills. I also enjoy a good book.
