RogerI attended North Dakota State University over 30 years ago, where I double majored a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Economics, and minored in Computer Science. I've been professionally involved in many aspects of business since then, and have been licensed in Mortgage Brokerage, Appraisals, Real Estate, and Insurance & Securities. During that time, I have been very involved with martial arts, and I have taught self defense to thousands of children. As an instructor, I do my best to make lessons interesting and fun, since students who are engaged and involved in the lessons usually retain the most information from those lessons. I feel that a solid, well-rounded education is essential in order for students to improve their lives. I look forward to working with you or your child with tutoring in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business, Cost Accounting, Financial Accounting, Intermediate Accounting, Macroeconomics, Managerial Accounting, Microeconomics, High School Accounting, High School Business, College Business, High School Economics, College Economics, or College Accounting. I enjoy spending my down time with my family - my wife, my children, and my grandchildren. I love riding my Harley, and teaching martial arts to my students.

Dr. DevryI believe education is one of the greatest gifts a person can have. Learning lasts a lifetime, but it can be difficult to learn effectively at times. I have 15 years of experience tutoring students across ages and ability in physics, math, biology, essay writing, chemistry, premed courses, and admissions and assessment exams like the MCAT. I'm also a fluent Spanish speaker, and I've tutored that as well. I attended Brown University for a bachelor's degree in biology and Texas A&M for my master's degree in ecology. I also earned a minor in Spanish as an undergraduate. I then moved on to the University of Texas medical school, and I recently completed my residency at Baylor College of Medicine. As a tutor, I like to help students feel relaxed and comfortable so that we can focus on the task at hand and help students succeed. I believe students have more ability than they realize in many cases, and if I can identify their learning style and teach to that, I can maximize their learning efficiency. There are a lot of resources and visuals to help students better understand topics. I was bring patience to my sessions, and I am persistent and make sure students understand the concepts we talk about before we move on to new ones. I also like to provide students with mnemonics, acronyms, and stories to help them memorize large amounts of information in a shorter time span. Overall, I want to make students confident in their abilities and provide them with the skills they need to learn on their own. In my free time, I enjoy tennis.

BrandieI went to Baylor University for a bachelor's degree in biology. I then went on to Texas A&M - Kingsville, where I earned my master's degree in biology. I have years of experience teaching biology related topics, such as cell biology lab, microbiology lab, and anatomy and physiology one and two. Of these, my favorite is anatomy and physiology. When I tutor students, I use activities and practice exercises to help students better understand material and retain it. I can also help students prepare for the AP biology exam. When I have free time, I'm a big fan of sports, and I enjoy attending live events.
