SophiaI work as a Special Education Resource Teacher for students in kindergarten through second grade. I love providing these students with the means to succeed academically. I tutor students in a wide variety of subjects, including math, science, language arts, and social studies courses. I have also had great success tutoring students who are preparing for standardized exams, from the ISEE to the ACT and even the GED. I believe in meeting my student where they are when we begin, first assessing how they receive information and learn most effectively and identifying learning gaps they may have. In addition to subject matter, I help my students develop good study and organizational skills.

DanielI recently received my IB diploma from high school. During my time a a high school student, I studied French immensely. I skipped level three French, was enrolled in IB French courses, took part in international French-immersion camps, earned a five on the French four exam, and so on. I adore the French language and love sharing my love for French with others. I can help students better understand the ins and outs of French, as well as how to properly pronounce words. In addition to tutoring French, I can also help students with conversational Italian, music, social sciences, study skills, and viola. When I'm not tutoring, I love cross-country running, reading, and cooking Italian food.
