NancyI have been a professional tutor for the past 10 years, ever since my four daughters grew up and moved out of my home. I have experience working with students from a variety of backgrounds, including those that were homeschooled, ESL students, those contending with chronic illnesses, and students attending public or private schools. I feel that my experiences as a parent provide me unique insight into the psyche of a young child, making it a little easier for me to understand their needs and adapt accordingly. I also think that my personality helps me make every session engaging, keeping students invested in the learning process. I'm comfortable working with a variety of age groups and academic subjects, including Middle School Writing, Algebra II, Elementary School Math, English, and Trigonometry. I can also help students prepare for the ACT and GRE.

DavidI have previous tutoring experience, and I have found that students tend to learn the best when they are treated as if they are equals and when they are encouraged to think of the material in different ways. As a tutor, I focus on making my students feel understood and comfortable. I encourage my students to ask questions at any time that they need to. I also ask them some questions to make sure that they understand the material as well. I can help students in the Rohnert Park in many subjects including calculus, biology, French, math, life sciences, and others. I like exercising and gymnastics in my free time.
