BarbaraI approach tutoring with an enthusiastic and passionate attitude. I strive to make this approach feel contagious and motivating. I hope to help students feel more confident in their coursework through improving their self esteem and reading skills. I earned my bachelor's degree in psychology from College of Mount Saint Vincent. I also have a master's degree in education of the learning disabled from the Teacher's College at Columbia University. I can assist students with elementary school reading, writing, middle school reading and comprehension, English, phonics, special education, and spelling. When I am not tutoring, I like to read, dance, oil paint, sing, journal write, and learn to play the flute.

AnabelI am an experienced educator who has been tutoring Science and Mathematics for years. My teaching style is often described as energetic because I put a lot of passion into what I do. I also makes things look effortless, but I have no problem explaining a concept as many times and in as many ways as it takes for you to understand it. I hold a bachelor's in Chemistry and a master's in Mathematics, so most of the subjects I teach are STEM-related. However, I can also help with Spanish and quantitative test prep. I currently work at Pima Community College in Tucson, Arizona, and would be happy to meet you in person if you live around there. Otherwise, we can study together online.
