I earned a bachelor's degree in English from Skidmore College, and I am currently working on my master's degree in history from Hunter College. I have experience teaching guitar privately, and I have tutored students in social studies, ELA, and math. I can also tutor in social sciences, writing, history, and many more. I have learned through my experiences that every student is different and unique in their own way. As a tutor, I adapt my lesson plans to meet the needs of each student. I am looking forward to meeting and working with new students to meet and exceed their academic goals. I enjoy reading, playing the guitar, cooking, and music.Education

I am currently attending college and I am pursuing bachelor's degree in mathematics and the science of computers. I have several years of experience tutoring students in mostly math related subjects, including precalculus, calculus, and trigonometry. I am very excited about math and it is the subject that I have the most experience with. I am most comfortable tutoring students in math related subjects, such as multivariable calculus, geometry, and finite mathematics, among others. I can also help students with English and history. I tend to be very involved as a tutor. I enjoy going through problems step-by-step and asking students about questions that relate to the topics we are going over.Education

I feel that a great teacher should act as a facilitator for their students. I have taught at a summer science camp since I was 15 years old, and I've also been tutoring (both paid and volunteer) for a while now. However, my most important experience comes from the four years I served as a TA while attending the University of California. I enjoy helping students learn new concepts, and have received great feedback on the passion and energy I show in front of a class. Students must be comfortable to perform their best, so I strive to create a learning environment where they are free to be themselves. If you or your child are picked on for your sexual identity or culture, I can create a safe space where you are free to concentrate on academics. Please reach out to me today!Education
