I earned a bachelor's degree in biology from Baker University. I am available to help with numerous subjects such as world history, study skills, statistics, English, political science, and many others. Although I tutor in a variety of topics, I enjoy science and math the most. I am able to break down complex concepts into easier to follow steps that inspire students to ask questions. I also like helping students relate the material they are learning to the world around them. When I have free time, I enjoy keeping up with current events, geocaching, listening to music, and writing. I am looking forward to helping students reach their academic goals.Education

Brian
I believe that every student is capable of learning math, it just takes the right person to help learn where they are making mistakes and how to correct them. I have been teaching math at the high school level since the year 2005, and I have tutored and taught every level of mathematics from pre-algebra through college calculus, including AP calculus and IB math. I am confident that I am capable of helping students succeed in math. I have my bachelor's degree in chemistry from Fort Lewis College and a master's degree in chemical engineering from the Colorado School of Mines. In my free time, I like playing sports and doing anything outdoors.Education
