SebastianMy tutoring style includes breaking tough concepts down in easy to follow steps for my students. I teach a subject from the ground up. I believe in presenting the material in a way that does not overwhelm the learner without patronizing them. I believe my academic and life experiences have made me into the understanding and patient tutor that I am today. I can tutor computer science, Spanish, and IB English. My favorite course to teach is computer science, because it is easy to connect to the real world. As far as experience, I have an IB degree from the International Baccalaureate School. In order to graduate, I had to complete one hundred and fifty hours or more of community service. I spent over one hundred and twenty of my hours tutoring a group of fourth grade pupils. This is where a majority of my tutoring experience has come from. Right now, I am earning my Bachelor in Computer Science. I am looking forward to sharing my knowledge and expertise with as many students as possible. When I am not tutoring, you can find me reading, playing games, and writing. Don't hesitate to contact me today, so we can get started right away.

NadiaI currently hold a master's degree in financial engineering. After completing my graduate program, I worked in finance for five years. While I enjoyed working in the field initially, I decided to make a career change after having a family. I'm now in the process of becoming a teacher. One of the reasons why I chose teaching is because I want to get the opportunity to leave a positive impact on the world. There's nothing greater than getting the chance to help a new generation of students prepare for academic and professional success. My areas of expertise are elementary math, algebra, English and English as a Second Language, and French. There's nothing more rewarding than having the opportunity to use my own skills and experiences to empower someone to do better. It's my goal to inspire my students to have the same love for learning that I have. I believe that everyone has the ability to be an excellent student when motivated by a teacher who's willing to go the extra mile to see them succeed. While teaching can be a little bit nerve-wracking at times, there's nothing I'd rather be doing more than standing in front of a classroom.

EricaI have over a decade worth of experience in tutoring and teaching. I've worked with students from elementary school through college, and every age in between. I have also had the opportunity to tutor students in a wide variety of subjects. I've worked with students in various math and science subjects, as well as a wide variety of English/ language arts subjects, such as grammar and syntax, writing and language, comparative literature, and more. I'm also able to tutor students in some creative subjects such as graphic design, dance, film, theatre, the visual arts, public speaking, and even technology and computer science. My experience also includes successfully assisting students as they prepare for standardized exams, such as the SAT, ACT, and others. When tutoring, I help students see how they can apply the information they are learning to their own life. Because each student has their own way of learning best, whether it's by doing, by hearing, or by seeing, or a combination, I have developed a variety of teaching methods, and use the ones that are helpful for each individual. I do this by learning their strengths and weaknesses, and applying the correct methods. In my free time, I enjoy video production, graphic design, and digital media design.
